Our first season under the new SuperSixties banner was a resounding success! We have put together a great programme for 2024 and invite everyone to participate.

SuperSixties is the historic racing class for FIA appendix K touring cars and GTs built between 1947 and 1965. Our 2024 calendar again offers 12 hours of track time, a total of 12 races on 6 different circuits in 4 different countries! Unrivalled variety and plenty of track time at very reasonable entry fees.

We will start the season in April at Spa-Francorchamps, our regular outing to the legendary circuit in the Ardennes. Due to renovations for Formula 1, Spa will be undergoing a makeover, which is why this event has been moved forward to the end of April. It is named “Spa Summer Classic” as usual, let’s hope for some summer weather!

Every year we visit a race track that is new to SuperSixties, preferably one with a bit of history. We think we did well this year, as we are going to Charade, near Clermont-Ferrand in France. This circuit was the venue for the Formula 1 French Grand Prix four times, in 1965, 1969, 1970 and 1972. This challenging track is located around a dormant volcano and is also known as the mini-Nürburgring. Charade in its current layout is 3.975 kilometres long. Of course, we will also race at the Zandvoort GP circuit in 2024. In June, we will be on track at the top historic racing event in the Netherlands, the Historic Grand Prix.

In July, we will cross the Channel and return to Brands Hatch, a track where we have had some great races in the past. Of course, we will race on the long (Grand Prix) circuit, during the Historic Sports Car Club’s Brands Hatch Super Prix. Experience shows that taking your race car into the UK does not pose any major problems for amateur drivers like us.

In September, we are again invited to what is now the third edition of the Classic GP Assen, at the world-famous TT circuit, where racing has been going on since 1925 and SuperSixties has been a long-time visitor.

As in the two previous years, we will finish the season at the Dijon-Prenois Circuit, with the customary 300-kilometre race on the Saturday. We will conclude the season on Sunday with a 30-minute sprint race.

Package Deal and Sponsor Deal 2024

The SuperSixties package deal 2024 costs € 4.295. With the package deal you enter all SuperSixties events in 2024. The package deal is personal and non transferable. A maximum of 45 package deals will be sold. All package / sponsor deal entrants have a guaranteed grid slot in all events. The entry for the package deal closes on March 24^th 2024.

If you prefer a business invoice for your package deal entry, you can opt for the SuperSixties Business Deal. This is the business entry for the 2024 package deal at the prize of € 5.595 (0% BTW/VAT/MWST). With a sponsor deal you support and sponsor SuperSixties. Your business name and logo can be published on our website and in as much other publicity as possible, according to your wishes. Single entries

The entry fee for a single event is € 895 per raceweekend at Charade, Assen and Dijon, € 995 at Spa and Zandvoort and € 1.095 to race at Brands Hatch.

Registration

You can register by sending the fully completed and signed SuperSixties 2024 entry form to race@nkhtgt.nl.

Registration for the Package/Sponsor Deal closes on Friday, March 24, 2024. Acceptance of registrations for the Package Deal is on a first-come-first-serve basis and will cease on the closing date or earlier if 45 paid registrations have been received. The entry fee for the package deal and the sponsorship deal must be paid in full before the close of entry on March 24, 2024.

The pre-registration for single entries starts immediately. The acceptance of single entries starts after the registration for the package deal has been closed. Acceptance of incidental registrations is based on availability of starting places and in order of receipt of payment. The registration fee for a single entry must be received in our account no later than one week before the event.

Always state the name of the participant(s) for whom the payment is intended clearly in your bank transfer!

If events are cancelled permanently due to corona or for any other reasons, each package/sponsor deal subscriber will receive a reasonable refund of the registration fee per cancelled event.

Regulations

The regulations for 2024 have been submitted to the KNAF for approval. As soon as they have been approved by the KNAF, the regulations will be published on www.supersixties.com.

Eligible drivers

The minimum license requirement is KNAF EU/National or an equivalent license from a foreign ASN.

Eligible cars and tires

All cars in SuperSixties must meet the requirements of FIA appendix K and have a valid FIA Historic Technical Passport (HTP). Cars without a valid FIA HTP can be admitted to an invitation class on the condition that the car meets all applicable safety requirements, dates from the period 1947 to 1965 and fits the character of SuperSixties, such at the discretion of the NKHTGT board.

The FIA appendix K tire regulations apply. In SuperSixties only Dunlop Racing L or M section tires compound 204 are allowed.
