Dear drivers, members,

We would like to give you an update on the consequences of these very uncertain times for the NKHTGT and the upcoming racing season.

At this moment, it is confirmed that our first race, the ‘Preis der Stadt Stuttgart’ at Hockenheimring (April 17-19) will not take place in the scheduled weekend. We assume that the event will take place later in the year and are in contact with the organizers.

The next race event is the ‘Historic Zandvoort Trophy’ (May 22-24).  Based on recent announcements by the Dutch Government, it is likely that this event will need to be postponed as well. We are currently waiting for information from the HARC, as the organizer of the event, if and when the event is can take place.

Our current assumption is that we will be able to organize a full race season with 6 events. The NKHTGT board is working hard to ensure we can deliver a full calendar and if needed, we will try to find other events, fitting our program, where we can participate.

In the unforeseen circumstance that we are not able to offer you a full 6 event season, we will compensate the drivers with a package deal pro rata the missing events, under the assumption that we will not make any costs for that specific event.

For the full picture, at this moment we have only paid the entire entry fee for the ‘Historic Zandvoort Trophy’ and down payments for the ‘Zolder Superprix’ and the ‘Le Mans Motors Cup’. All upcoming due payments will be postponed in consultation with the respective organizers. Be ensured that we remain in a healthy financial position.

We wish all our drivers, all club members and their families all needed strength during these uncertain times and we sincerely hope that normal life soon resumes. We are looking forward to a great race season in the second half of 2020 and hope see you all healthy and well at the starting grid.
